Q2 2024 Dance Games Performance on iOS in the UK

Sensor Tower's latest insights reveal the performance of the top dance games on iOS in the UK for Q2 2024, with varied trends in downloads and user engagement.

Just Dance Now from Ubisoft experienced a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at $1.78M in late April before settling at around $1.2M by the end of June. Downloads saw a similar inconsistent pattern, with a high of 1.55K in the first week of April and levelling off to 1.08K towards the quarter's close. Weekly active users started strong at 2.95K but experienced a gradual decline to just under 2.2K.

Coco Play's Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop showed an interesting revenue trajectory, spiking to $122 in mid-June, a notable increase from $40 at the start of April. Downloads for the game were highest at 662 in the first week of April but dipped to 277 by the last week of June. Active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 1.12K to 542 over the same period.

Another Coco Play title, Ice Skating Ballerina, saw its revenue mostly hover around the $100 mark, with a dip to $58 in the last week of June. Downloads began at 650 and saw a decrease to 253 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started at 929 and showed a decrease, ending at 399.

Coco Play's Acrobat Star Show did not generate revenue this quarter. However, downloads peaked at 329 in the first week of April before gradually falling to 127 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend from 427 to 196.

Lastly, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys had modest revenue figures, starting at $16 and reaching $39 in early June. Downloads began at 134 and saw a decline to 42 by the quarter's end. The number of weekly active users also reduced from 215 to 110 throughout the quarter.
